Fame in Politics

Fuck if Patricia Heaton didn't do it again...using her stupid ass fame to voice her stupid ass opinion. And she wasn't alone this time, with Michael J. Fox, Kurt Warner, Jeff Suppan, and other "famous" persons making political statements as well. I am not arguing against freedom of speech, I'm arguing against using fame to persuade voters. I don't care that the people on this list make $millions....I even like some of their work...but they have absolutely no reasoning when they choose to express their opinion in politics. Please tell me what kind of credibility these people have in politics. The answer is none. I don't trust society with the ability to separate fame with being "right." And superstars shouldn't either. Fame is adored, fame is admired, so fame must be "right." NO IT'S NOT! These actors and sports superstars need to realize they are no more important than anyone else....they need to see the reason why it is wrong. Credibility is everything when expressing opinions. Go figure...everything boils down to personal responsibility again.
